Dr. Edward Eckert

Dr Edward Eckert Hormonify

Dr. Edward Eckert had been working in the field of women’s health and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for over 30 years before launching Hormonify.

He first became Board-Certified in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1988. He has trained at Emory University, University of Florida, New York University-affiliated Hospital and is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

He established and founded Menopause Institute in 1994 and dedicated years of research into investigating the etiology and treatment of menopause and its sequelae.

He founded Hormonify.com in order to expand the already successful prescribing of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).

Dr. Edward Eckert has been prescribing BHRT for over 30 years in South Florida and stands high above the rest in his knowledge, expertise and commitment to hormone health.

Kristi Bernardo MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC

Kristi Bernardo Nurse Practitioner Hormonify

Kristi, APRN, is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner specializing in comprehensive healthcare. She has over 20 years of experience in the acute care of neonatal, antepartum, postpartum, and gynecological patients.

She has a passionate interest in individualized bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Kristi is also a firm believer in the benefits of natural supplements.

Her final goal is to provide good quality of life during the aging process to both, women and men.

She is a member of the South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses and The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses.
She believes in providing personalized quality care with compassion.

 

Ann Mahan, APRN, WHNP

Nurse Ann Hormonify

Ann Mahan (Nurse Ann to patients) started her nursing career more than thirty years ago as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, providing direct care to women and serving as a coach to women and couples for whom she taught childbirth classes. She has combined her love of nursing and teaching over the years as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 1987 providing gynecological care in various settings such as:

  • Inner-city clinics, large multispecialty practices and, for the last twenty years, in University Health Centers.
  • She is a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)
  • A Certified Nurse Colposcopist (CNC) caring for women with precancer and cancer of the cervix.
  • She is a member of various organizations such as the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the North American Menopause Society.

Ann cares for women from college age to young mothers to women transitioning to midlife and beyond. She has taught her patients on topics such as contraception, STD’s, menopause, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, vaginal health, breast health, weight issues, body image, skincare/acne and sex from adolescence through menopause and beyond including after breast cancer.

She has appeared as an expert commentator on MTV True Life “I need a SEX RX, on CBS news about contraception, and has been featured on the cover of USA Today talking about contraception. Ann is past President of the New Jersey College Health Association and was the 2016 recipient of the “Nursing Excellence Award.”
